Acuity Brands Announces Acquisition of Lighting Control & Design
Acuity Brands, Inc. today announced it has acquired substantially all assets and assumed certain liabilities of California based Lighting Control and Design, Inc. (LC&D), a manufacturer of comprehensive digital lighting controls and software. LC&D offers a wide-breadth of products and services, ranging from lighting dimming and building interfaces to digital thermostats, all within a single, scalable system for numerous applications, including commercial and industrial buildings.
"Lighting controls are an important part of our growth strategy, and this acquisition will enable us to accelerate the introduction of innovative and energy-efficient products and services, as well as expand our presence in this market," said Vernon J. As a prominent and successful agency serving all of Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties, as well as Specifications around the world, Performance Lighting Systems is seeking to grow their business and recruit for a Sales Position working in their Controls Business Unit.
The Sales Professional who meets the requirements will work directly with the Specification, Contractor, and Distributor community within the territory to effectively secure specifications, coordinate projects through the Contractor & Distributor channels, and realize targeted sales objectives, while promoting the use of Crestron Lighting Controls and their growing capabilities at various industry events and functions.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Crestron trained (or equally knowledgeable) professional with 3 to 10 years of industry experience providing lighting control solutions to Commercial, Hospitality, Educational, and High-End Residential segments of the market. The applicant should have a basic understanding of Commercial Lighting Products, and currently reside, or be willing to relocate to Orange or LA County.
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
